Bastia striker Brandao has been provisionally suspended until Sept. 18 by Ligue 1’s disciplinary committee and could yet face further action over his head-butt on ParisSaint-Germain’s Thiago Motta. The incident, which was caught on video, left Motta with a broken nose. Earlier this week, Bastia said it would take no action against the player despitecondemning his behavior.
