Former Philadelphia Charge defender Jenny Benson scored her first Russian League goal to lead defending champion FC Energy Voronezh to a 4-0 victory at Nika last week.

Benson played 90 minutes in Wednesday's victory and again Monday when Energy shut out Nadezhda, 3-0, to improve to 5-1-4. Benson, a left back for Energy, also has an assist in nine Supreme League appearances.

The Russian League leaders will be home again Thursday, against Ryazan-TNK.

Full league slates are on tap Tuesday in Iceland and Tuesday and Wednesday in Sweden.

Former Charge goalkeeper Hope Solo, who 10 days ago led Kopparbergs/Goteborg (4-4-3) to a stunning 1-1 tie at Djurgarden/Alvsjo (9-0-2), will get another chance against the Damallsvenskan leaders on Wednesday at home.
