[VIDEO PICK] Bryan College senior Gustavo Angel Tamayo grew up in England, so he knew little about basketball.
He says he was so unaccustomed to handling a ball that he doesn’t take throw-ins for the Lions’ soccer team.
On top of that, he had a broken finger.
But that didn’t prevent him fromwinning $10,000 by making a layup, free-throw, 3-pointer and then a half-court shot — all in 30 seconds.
The $10,000 was supposed to go to tuition, but his tuition is already paidfor.
“Everyone wants a piece of the pie,” he told theChattanooga Times Free Press, “so I guess I’m just going to hand out $1 bills.”
