Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao will be out for another two weeks with a “new injury,” Coach Louis van Gaal confirmed onThursday. The Colombian, who has yet to complete 90 minutes for United since joining the club on loan from AS Monaco on transfer deadline day, has not played since the 2-2 draw at West Brom on Oct20.

While Falcao’s fitness concerns have been linked to the ACL injury suffered in January that caused him to miss the World Cup, the striker insisted that the latest injury setbackshave had nothing to do with his knee. “It is a bit frustrating,” he toldUnited’s official Web site. “Well, it is more than frustrating actually and it detracts from the credibility of the media that there is so much speculation and that so many falsehoodshave been written about it. I think with an audience of so many millions of people, it is not right. I did take a small injury to my calf, which is something that I need to be careful with, but thereare a lot of stories circulating that are pure speculation.”
