Baltimore Armour, Sacramento Republic and Florida's Boca United have been accepted to field U.S. Soccer Development Academy teams for the 2015-16 season in all the divisions: U-13/14s, U-15/16s and U-17/18s. New York City FC will be joining the U-13/14 age group.

Baltimore Armour, whose Technical Director is former U.S. U-17 national team coach John Ellinger, was formed this year and is comprised of four different clubs -- SAC, Pipeline SC, Pro Soccer Academy, Baltimore Bays -- covering the entire Baltimore area.

Boca United was founded in 1992. Alums include U.S. striker Jozy Altidore, who got his start with Boca's recreational program. Boca’s Director of Coaching is Eric Eichmann, a member of the USA’s 1990 World Cup squad.

MLS 2015 newcomer New York City FC has affiliated with 11 New York-area youth clubs.

Sacramento Republic FC was founded in 2012 and its first team has played in the USL since 2014.
