U.S. Soccer’s new Women’s Development Coach Tricia Taliaferro, who is U.S. Soccer’s main scout for the 2000 birth year, will guide the U.S. U-16 national team during an April6-13 camp with 24 players in Chula Vista, Calif.

All but one player on this roster was born in 2000. All are age-eligible for the next FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2016, but the mainbirth year for that tournament is 1999. Taliaferro’s staff includes U.S. Soccer Women’s Technical Director April Heinrichs, Head Development Coach AprilKater and newly hired Development Coaches Mark Carr and Jitka Klimkova.

The camp is being held in conjunction with a U.S. U-16 girls’ camp andthe two teams will play each other twice.
