Former World Cup winner and FIFA World Player of the Year Fabio Cannavaro has been given a 10-month custodial sentence for breaking into his own home. The retiredformer Italy and Real Madrid defender, who captained Italy to the 2006 World Cup title, had been ordered to stay out of his Naples address after prosecutors claimed that elements of the propertybreached planning regulations. According to the report, Cannavaro, his wife Daniela Arenoso and brother Paolo were caught swimming in the pool. Cannavaro and his wife are reportedlyunder investigation for tax evasion in 2014.
