Honduran midfielder Luis Garrido, who plays in MLS for the Houston Dynamo, suffered a gruesome knee injury and had to be transported to the hospital after hesuffered torn posterior and anterior cruciate ligaments when Mexico midfielder Javier Aquino fell on his planted right leg in the first half of theMexico-Honduras World Cup qualifier in San Pedro Sula. For Garrido, who has been on loan to the Dynamo from Olimpia since 2014, could be out of action for at least a year.
