U.S. Soccer has named former U.S. World Cup goalkeeper Brad Friedel head coach of the new U.S. U-19 men’s national team, which was added to the program this year. OmidNamazi, who has been serving as Tab Ramos’ assistant on the U-20 men’s national team, has been named head coach of the U-18 men’s national team, replacing JavierPerez, who left U.S. Soccer to become an assistant coach at MLS’s New York City FC.
