Arsenal is trying to sign striker Jamie Vardy from Leicester City and is reported set to trigger the release clause in his contract ($29 million). Vardy scored 24 league goals to help the Foxeswon the 2015-16 EPL title. They paid less than $1.5 million for the England international from none-league Fleetwood in 2012.

  1. Terrible idea. Vardy is a counter-attacking machine. Why would he go to a team that expects magic in their attacking 3rd against teams that defend with 9 or 10 men behind the ball?

  2. Who else is sick of all the ESPN (Fox too!) UK-Bias reporters, reporting everything as if the U.S.A is England-West? Don’t you get tired of these guys talking to you about everything as if you were an English expatriate? ENGLAND-West reporters on ESPN are so disappointed about Russia (even Mike Ballack has to curtail his lack of bias for England because he is working for an England-West TV station).
