Greg Garza returned to action in Mexico’s Liga MX for the first time in more than 11 months as he started in Tijuana’s 2-0 win over Morelia on the opening night of the Torneo Apertura.

Garza played only three game on loan to Atlas last season before needing hip surgery in September. He had played four seasons for Tijuana and was a part of Xolos’ 2012 Torneo Aperturachampionship team.
