  1. MLS is a selling league, is it not? Then Don Garber should be pleased he gets to sell one of his top prospects. $3M seems awfully cheap though. And to Scotland? I thought we were aiming higher. MLS players, though, seem to be desperate to punch out. I guess MLS owners (and fans) better get used to the churn. This turnover, theoretically, should open up more spots for american players, shouldn’t it? Shouldn’t we be seeing a couple academy players starting every match, on all teams? I’ve seen more contracts for home-growns but that hasn’t translating into first team playing time, has it? Will it? Lots of talk about development, but mostly signing mature south americans from what I can tell. Monopolies seem to work best for owners, but everyone already knows that. Good thing we will be doubling down on monopolies with the upcoming USL division 2 update.
