Longtime Uruguayan coach Anibal Ruiz, who worked at 23 clubs (several more than once) in a career that spanned more than 40 years, died of a heart attack on Friday. He was an assistant coach for Mexican club Puebla, which was scheduled to play at Veracruz. The 74-year-old Ruiz collapsed on the field moments after the game was called off because of the Mexican referee strike. He died on the way to the hospital. Read the original story...
