Former Italian women's star Panico to coach U-16 boys national team

Former Italian women's national team star Patrizia Panico will make history when she will become the first woman to coach an Italian men's national team, taking charge of the U-16s for two games next week

Panico, whose career included a stint with Sky Blue FC, is an assistant to Coach Daniele Zoratto, who will be away with Italy's U-19 team.

The U-16 games will be against Germany in Verona on March 22 and Caldeiro Terme on March 24. Read the original story...
