The Late Late Show with James Corden spoofs overzealous soccer parents in a skit that pits Corden against actor comedian Kevin James in a sideline cheering battle for their sons "Charlie" and "Oliver." Adam Sandler  has to intervene as ref of the Soccer Dads.

This wasn't funny - which is sad - because it could have been brilliant. I don't think these guys have attended one of their kids games (if they play soccer, baseball, football, etc.). Imagine Oliver's dad mumbling under his breath how awful Charlie is playing and why his kid is so much better, Charlie's dad screaming at Oliver because he was so fat, etc. and parents escalating from there - shouting at their kids - coaching from the sidelines and everything going down hill from there. It would be funny because we could relate - as we've all seen it before - A typical Saturday afternoon.

I dont think they were at a soccer game because that was a basketball or football ref not soccer.
