Borussia Dortmund's highly regarded holding midfielder, Julian Weigl, broke his ankle in Saturday's 1-1 tie at Augsburg and will be out for about four months.

"He told me he felt it immediately," said Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel. The first diagnosis is that it is a broken ankle." "This is a bitter loss for us which we cannot compensate one-to-one currently. We will try to find a solution for the last two matches of the season which will be very difficult."
