More bad luck for Borussia Dortmund’s Marco Reus: He suffered a partially torn cruciate ligament in his knee in the first half of the German Cup final win over Eintracht Frankfurt.

Reus, who turns 28 on Wednesday, won the first trophy of his career. He missed the 2014 World Cup that Germany won with an ankle injury.

Coach Joachim Loew kept him out of Euro 2016because of injury concerns, and Reus missed a good part of the 2016-17 season with assorted injuries, opening the door for Christian Pulisic to receive extensive playing time.
