Bayern Munich paid a record $46 million (up to $53 million with performance bonuses) for 22-year-old French midfielder Corentin Tolisso from Lyon.

Bayern coach Carlo Ancelotti pushed to sign Tolisso, the German champion's fourth summer signing after Hoffenheim stars Niklas Suele and Sebastian Rudy and Werder Bremen striker Serge Gnabry.
