Maybe it's just me but I doubt if the American game is good enough to attract 40 thousand ticket paying fans to a game against another American team. Unless they offer other things for the fans and their children to do before the game starts then again at the half and at the end of the game like a fire works display. Like a meet and greet with the stars of the team.

What do you mean? Seattle gets 40k+ every game.

Frankly, Nick, I think it's just you. "Good enough" is frequently irrelevant. I remember seeing Milan-Chelsea at Meadowlands with some 50,000 in attendance that was a bore of a game in spite of the "goodness" of both teams. And I've seen college games that were much more exciting, even though Milan or Chelsea would've beaten those college teams by some 20 goals.

You are right Nick. If you go to a Sounders game you can see "BOTH" teams warm up before the game.....exiting stuff!

Hey I told you I could be wrong :) so are the restraunts in Seattle great maybe that is the attraction. My oldest son lived in Seattle for a year. His sales people can make 200 thousand a year if they push themselves to sell Included in that was a 60 thousand base pay. He kept complaining they were happy with the base pay and did not try to make more. So he closed operations there and came back home. He also said they could not get boars head cold cuts there :) it must be just me because I find the American game boring. Not enough movement in the game. I see a dribbler in the center of the field with the ball there is almost never anyone moving from the flank towards him to help him. I see that one dribbler by himself in the center of the field in the up top space I get bored fast.

Nick, maybe you are a naturally boring person or simply preconditioned to being a negative minded person and MLs happens to be one of your victims.
