Romanian midfielder George Calintaru was reportedly so upset about his poor attempt at a Panenka  penalty kick, which would have earned his Juventus Bucharest a last-second tie against FCSB, that he punched a table in the locker room and broke a finger.

:) the keeper before the pk looked like he was having a seizure. Then maybe the taker thought this guy was going to guess a side and go. So the taker just hit a nothing ball at the center of the goal. But instead the keeper did not guess he just stood his ground and did not guess a side and just caught the lazy ball. So yes the taker looked bad, but maybe the keeper was just smart? But I think the Romanian team should be forced to give up the Juventus name they don't deserve to wear it. Or both teams just had no idea what they are doing? :)

I thought it was funny ,knowing you had Rumanian ancestry...His teammates just jumped on the poor guy. Interesting in America, his teammates would say "We feel your pain, lets all huddle together and hold hands, Boohoo", snicker ,snicker"

I"ve never been a fan of the "cheeky" chip down the middle as the GK dives out of the way (since it makes the GK looks so foolish). So I don't have a lot of sympathy for the guy...

Kent, it is gutsy, but I think the goalie ,somehow felt it coming. I wonder if they player tried this before. You should watch the original on Youtube, by Panenka to the German goalie Sepp Maier who at that time was known as best goalie in the world...

I never liked when the keeper is so up right just before a pk. I think you start low not high because it easier to come up on a ball then it is to go down for a ball. Especially a ball that is just outside close to your body. Just my opinion.

Teammates weren't happy, I saw quite a few shoves delivered on his walk off the pitch...
