Korea Beats Togo, May Look for Draw Against French

The Korea Herald has several stories in amusing English about the feats of heroism performed by its countrymen in yesterday's 2-1 comeback win over Togo. South Koreas top Group F following France's 0-0 stalemate with Switzerland. Korea, confident now it can win away from home, likes its chances against France, which has have failed to score in their last 360 minutes of World Cup soccerfour matches. Depending on what happens with Switzerland-Togo, a point from each of its last two gamesand this Korean side has shown it's capable of hunkering down and defending for 90 minutesmight be enough to see it into the next round. Said France Coach Raymond Domenech: "The next match against the Koreans has now turned into a very important one where we have to score." He added: "Our next game could be tight. We know the Koreans have the possibility to look for a draw and go for it in their last game. It's obvious we have to win it to be comfortable but even if we draw again it doesn't rule everything out."
