Ghana, apparently, is having a hard time picking itself up after the team's 2-0 loss to Italy on Monday. Ghana coach Ratomir Dujkovic says no one is suffering more than defender Sami Kuffour, who
gifted the second goal to Vicenzo Iaquinta after bungling his back pass to the goalkeeper. For those who remember Manchester United's amazing comeback against Bayern Munich in the '99 Champions League
final, the look on Kuffour's face Monday was the spitting image of that famous night in Barcelona, when his team conceded two goals in stoppage time to lose to Man Utd. "Kuffour is suffering more
than anyone at this moment," the coach said. "He is very sorry for what happened"' Meanwhile, midfielder Sulley Ali Muntari also told reporters he hasn't been able to sleep for the last two nights.
The USA will hope the Black Stars can pick themselves up to produce a performance against their conquerors, because if the USA and Ghana both win on Saturday, the group will be thrown wide open.
