MLS has signed three young players SuperDraft 2002 eligibility: ò Forward Taylor Twellman
, 21, a St. Louis, Mo., product who played two years at the University of Maryland before spending
two years playing with GermanyÆs 1860 MunichÆs amateur team. Twellman won the Bronze Boot at the 1999 U-20 World Cup with four goals. He also played in the 1997 U-17 World Cup. ò Midfielder
, 17, becomes fifth-youngest player currently under contract with MLS. A native of Texas, Stone played for the USA at the 2001 U-17 World Cup. ò Forward Dominic DaPra
of Racine, Wis., played two seasons at St. Louis University and two seasons at the University of Wisconsin, for which he scored 15 goals and four assists last season. The addition of Twellman,
Stone and DaPra brings the SuperDraft pool of pre-signed players to 11, following the earlier commitments of Luchi Gonzalez, John Barry Nusum, Mohamed Fahim, Craig Capano (P-40), Justin Mapp (P-40),
Kyle Martino (P-40), Kelly Gray (P-40), and Brad Davis (P-40).
