England Coach Sven Goran Eriksson confirmed his team will be going after top spot regardless of what happens between Germany and Ecuador, one of whom will be England's second-round opponents. Aside from simply wanting to win every game, Sven pointed out that England has not beaten Sweden in 38 years. "Before leaving this job, I would like to do something about that." The big news from the England camp today is that Wayne Rooney will start against Sweden, but Steven Gerrard and Peter Crouchwho are both on yellow cardsare likely to sit. That means Michael Owen, who's not looked sharp so far, will probably keep his place, while Michael Carrrick or Owen Hargreaves will likely replace Gerrard.
