College: Men's NCAA Division I Coaching Moves

Aidan Heaney, the 2000 Southern Conference Coach of the Year at Appalachian State, is the new head coacxh at UNC Wilmington. Heaney, 32, replaces Keith Cammidge. Heaney, a graduate of UNC Charlotte, played in the USISL (Greensboro Dynamo) and MLS (New England Revolution). He was an assistant at North Carolina and Penn State before taking the App State job in 1999.
