first-half goals from Miroslav Baranek and George Donkov. The MetroStars started with Howard, Thomas Dooley, Steve Jolley, Mark Semioli, and Ramiro Corrales in the back. Steve Trittschuh, Mark
Chung, Petter Villegas, Lothar Matthaeus, and Tab Ramos played midfield roles, with Comas up front. Mike Ammann replaced Howard in goal at the start of the second half. Kevin Anderson (sub for
