Dowling, No. 1 in the the NSCAA/adidas NCAA Men's Division II rankings, had its 16-game winning streak snapped when it was held to a 0-0 tie by Dominican in its regular-season finale. Dowling (16-0-1) and No. 2 Carson-Newman (12-0-2) are the only unbeaten D2 men's teams. Spaniard Dario Carrasco scored four goals in the Eagles' 4-0 win over Newberry to claim their fourth straight South Atlantic Conference regular-season title.

  • West Florida's men's team tied school records for most consecutive wins (11) and most wins in a season (16) when the D2 Argonauts beat Spring Hill, 1-0, on Alvaro Franco's goal. Two days earlier, they had beaten Montevallo by the same score on Brazilian Eduardo Oliveira's goal to clinch the Gulf South title.

  • One of the hottest teams in the NAIA men's ranks is Missouri school Hannibal-LaGrange, which extended its winning streak to nine games with a 1-0 win over McKendree on J.P. Wunder's goal with 18 seconds remaining. The Trojans improved to 14-3-0 overall and clinched the American Midwest regular-season title.

  • Messiah, ranked No. 1 in NSCAA/adidas NCAA Women's Division III, had its 35-game unbeaten streak snapped when it lost to No. 3 Oneonta State, 2-1, in overtime on Saturday. Juniors Mary Velan and Calli Jo Sheldon scored for O-State. Messiah, the defending Division III champion, had outscored its opponents, 49-0, going into the match.
