Hejduk sparks U.S. U-23s past Denmark

U.S. 2, Denmark 1

San Diego native Frankie Hejduk scored and set up another goal to give the U.S. under-23 national team a 2-1 win over Denmark Feb. 7 on the campus of UC San Diego.

Hejduk stuck in a rebound of a Pete Marino shot in the 24th minute then assisted on A.J. Wood's goal four minutes later.

Kern Lyhne netted the Danes' only goal in the 87th minute.
