Former Mexico City mayor Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador holds a six-point lead over two other candidates in a three-man race. Center-left candidate Lopez Obrador is a pasionate baseball fan, while conservative rival Felipe Calderon is a soccer fan. Calderon was criticized for mixing soccer and politcs, especially after his prediction of the outcome of the Mexico-Angola game. Calderon predicted 4-1; the game ended 0-0.
