Mexico: No decision on Milutinovic's future

A five-hour meeting of the Mexican soccer federation's (FMF) national council in Mexico Nov. 28 failed to produce a decision about the future of national team coach Bora Milutinovic, under pressure from many quarters for his team's poor play in the first round of World Cup qualifying.

It postponed its decision until Dec. 18 in Guadalajara, after the First Division presidents assembly meeting Dec. 9 in Guadalajara, where the national council hopes to produce a consesus about the meeting.

FMF secretary Edgardo Codesal claimed one reason for the delay was that Milutinovic was sick and unable to present his report on the national team program.
