U.S. Soccer: Keller and Dooley injured!

The United States has lost two more starters for the first of two games against Cost Rica Dec. 1.

Kasey Keller injured his ankle in Leicester City's 2-0 win over Manchester United in a English League Cup game Nov. 27. He will be replaced in the U.S. goal by Brad Friedel. Juergen Sommer has been brought in to take Keller's spot on the U.S. roster.

Also out is Thomas Dooley, who returned to Germany to seek treatment for a calf injury suffered in the 1-0 win over Trinidad & Tobago Nov. 24.

Also out are Tab Ramos (out 4-6 months with a knee injury) and Jeff Agoos (accumulation of yellow cards).

Players with one yellow card: Mike Burns, Paul Caligiuri, Keller, Alexi Lalas, Joe-Max Moore, Ramos and Eric Wynalda.

The USA-Costa Rica match will kick off at 11:00 am local time (12:00 pm EST) and air on Univision at 1:00 pm EST.
