Here is some biographical information on some of the forwards at the MLS player combine in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

CLARK BRISSON

Currently playing indoors with the Philadelphia Kixx in the NPSL.... Played for the Dayton Dynamo of the NPSL in 1994-95, scoring 28 goals with 7 assists, but had season cut short due to injury.... Played 1993-94 with the Baltimore Spirit of the NPSL, scoring 30 goals with 20 assists.... Played 1992-93 with the Charleston Battery of the USISL.... Drafted in the First Round out of South Carolina by the Canton Invaders of the NPSL in 1991.... Played 1991-92 with the Invaders and made the All-Rookie Team while scoring 34 goals with 23 assists..

CHAD CARITHERS

Played the 1996 USISL season with the South Carolina Shamrocks.... Played 1995 in the Japanese Third Division with Albiereo Niigatta.... Played 1993-94 at the College of Charleston.... In 1993, he has 15 goals and 9 assists and in 1994, he ranked second nationally in scoring with 20 goals and 14 assists.... A two-time First-Team All-Conference choice and two-time team MVP at Charleston.... A member of the U.S. Under-23 National Team pool in 1994-95, playing three games on an Egyptian tour while scoring once.

BRAEDEN CLOUTIER

One of the best two-way players in the CISL last season while playing for the San Diego Sockers.... Was the team MVP of the Sockers during 1996.... Played for the reserve team of Hamburg SV in the German Third Division from 1992-94.... Originally drafted by the Las Vegas Dustdevils in 1994, but was traded to the Sockers.... Scored 11 goals in 24 games as a rookie for the Sockers in 1994.... Played 1994-95 in the NPSL with his hometown Wichita Wings..

NATE DALIGCON

A four-year starter and two-time NAIA All-American at Seattle Pacific University.... Played in the Umbro Select College All-Star Classic last year.... Drafted in the Third Round of the MLS College Draft (24th overall) by the Tampa Bay Mutiny, but was released in preseason.... Played last season for the A-League Champion Seattle Sounders.

GERSON ECHEVERRY

Played last season for Deportiva Cortulua in the Colombian First Division, scoring in his debut.... Played at Seton Hall from 1990-94, starting all four years and earning three All-Big East selections.... Was the Big East Player of the Year, an NSCAA All-America and was the second leading scorer in the nation in 1991.... Scored 19 goals with 15 assists in 1991.

KYLE FRESH

Spent last three years in the Army as an First Lieutenant stationed at Fort Campbell, Ky. as a member of the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault).... Played two years for the Combined Armed Forces Team traveling the country playing exhibitions against local teams, other Armed Forces teams and several international matches.... Played from 1990-92 at Boston University, where he holds the single season record for goals and points with 18 goals and 43 points.... Played freshman season at University of Richmond and was teams leading scorer with 13- goals.

RICCI GREENWOOD

On the roster of the Columbus Crew as a developmental player during the 1996 season, he saw action in one game.... Is playing 1996-97 season indoors with the Columbus Invaders of the NPSL.... Played the 1996 USISL season with the Columbus Xoggz.... Played at Seattle Pacific from 1993-95.... Played with the U.S. Under-16 National Team in 1988.

RYSHIEM HENDERSON

Played in the San Jose Clash's last three games of the 1996 MLS regular season after being called up from the USISL California Jaguars.... Played 1996 with the Jags, leading the team to the USISL championship by scoring 17 goals with 8 assists.... He scored game-winning goals in five consecutive games and scored 4 times in six playoff games, making the Sizzlin' Six All-Tournament Team.... Played 1990-95 at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, where as a four-year starter he led the Mustangs to the 1992 NCAA Division II Final Four.

JOHN JONES

Played 1996 USISL season with the Sacramento Scorpions.

JOEY LEONETTI

Played last season with the Seattle Sounders of the A-League, scoring 9 goals with 2 assists in helping the team to the championship.... Taken in Round 10 of the last years MLS Player Draft (94th overall) by the Los Angeles Galaxy, but was released late in preseason.... Played 1993-95 with the Portland Pride of the CISL, scoring 10 goals with 9 assists in 1994 and 22 goals with 11 assists in 1995.... Played for the APSL San Francisco Bay Blackhawks in 1992, scoring 7 goals with 3 assists.... Played at the University of Portland from 1988-91, scoring 37 career goals with 36 assists.

DOMINIC MOBILIO (GC)

Played 1996 A-League season with the Vancouver 86ers, scoring 14 goals with 2 assists.... Has played 10 seasons with the 86ers, six in the Canadian Soccer League and four in the A-League.... In his 10 years, hes scored 113 regular season goals and 13 playoff goals.... He started 194 of his 205 games with the 86ers.... The CSL's all-time leading scorer with 81 goals in his six years.... Played the 1995-96 NPSL season with the Harrisburg Heat, scoring 61 goals in 38 games and totaled 133 points.... Played 1988-92 with the MISL's Baltimore Blast, scoring 171 goals in 182 games and 240 total points.... Was a three-time CSL All-Star and a two-time A-league All-Star.... Was the MVP of the CSL in 1991 when he led the league in scoring and set a record with 25 goals.... A member of the Canadian National Team since 1988, he earned his first full cap at age 17 and now has more than 20 caps for Canada.... Played for Canada in the 1987 World Youth Championships in Chile, scoring a goal in a 2-2 tie with Italy.... Also played for the Canadian Under-20 and Under-16 National Teams.

PATRICK OLALERE (GC)

Played the 1996 USISL season with the Charleston Battery, scoring 33 goals in 33 games to lead the league.... Played two years at Carson Newman.

JON PARRY

Played the 1996 CISL season with the Sacramento Knights, making the All-Star Team, and was voted MVP of the All-Star Game.... Leading scorer in Knight's franchise history with 127 goals and 84 assists.... Scored 213 goals and had 87 assists in four NPSL seasons with the Baltimore Spirit (1994-95) and the Kansas City Attack (1991-94).... Helped the Attack to an NPSL championship in 1993, scoring 7 goals with 9 assists in the five-game championship series with Cleveland.... A member of the 1996 U.S. Futsal Team at the World Championships in Spain.... A three-time NAIA All-America at Rockhurst College, leading the Hawks to two Final Four appearances.... Holds Rockhurst records for goals in a season (33) and career (93).

MICHAEL SAUNDERS (GC)

A USISL All-Star with the Connecticut Wolves in 1996.... The Wolves' all-time leading scorer with 44 goals in four years from 1993-96.... Played three seasons at UConn from 1990-93.... Scored 13 goals in more than three seasons with the Huskies.... Played basketball as a walk-on at UConn in 1994.

KHARY STOCKTON

Played in 1996 with the Milwaukee Rampage in the USISL, scoring 4 goals with 2 assists.... Drafted by the MetroStars in 1996 but was waived during preseason.... Played with the USISL and U.S. Open Cup champion Richmond Kickers in 1995.... Played in Brazil for AE Velo Clube in the Sao Paolo Second Division in 1994.... Played for William & Mary from 1989-92.... A four-year starter, he captained the team in 1992.

DAN STEBBINS

Played the 1996 USISL season with the Milwaukee Rampage, earning All-Star honors.... Voted the USISL's Select League MVP after scoring 21 goals with 8 assists to lead the league in scoring with 50 points.... Also led the Rampage in scoring in 1995 with 43 points.... The Rampage all-time leading scorer with 41 goals and 11 assists for 93 points in 43 regular season games.... Scored a diving header in the final minute of a June 9 tussle with the Minnesota Thunder, ending the Thunder's 61-game home unbeaten streak.... Scored five goals in seven playoff games in 1995.... Began his pro career indoors with the Milwaukee Wave in 1992.... Played indoor with the NPSL Chicago Power during 1994-95.... Played at Notre Dame from 1988-91.

ERIC STEMPINSKI

Played 1993-95 at UW-Milwaukee.... Scored 23 goals in three-year career.... Played freshman season at Ohio Wesleyan.

DAVE STEWART

Played 1993-96 with the El Paso Patriots of the USISL.... Missed part of 1996 with an injury, but still scored 7 goals and had 8 assists in 10 games.... Selected as a 1996 USISL All-Star....Scored 17 goals with 9 assists for the Patriots in 1995 and was voted Player of the Year for the Southeast Division.... Scored 10 goals with 8 assists in 1994.

BRIAN TAYLOR

Played last USISL season with the Central Coast Roadrunners, helping the team win the the Premier League title, scoring five out of the six goals in the playoffs.... Was MVP of the tournament and the Rookie of the Year in the Premier League.... Played 1994-95 at Fresno State.
