4. ON THE MOVE: Bora takes Jamaica helm

Bora Milutinovic has been hired as head coach of Jamaica, which will be the fifth team he coaches from the CONCACAF region.

The Serbia-born Milutinovic has coached Mexico twice - at the 1986 World Cup it hosted and during qualifying for the 1998 World Cup. (Milutinovic succeeded in qualifying El Tri but was replaced before the finals.) He coached Costa Rica at the 1990 World Cup, the USA at the 1994 World Cup it hosted, and had an unsuccessful stint with Honduras during qualifying for the 2006 World Cup.

Milutinovic, who moved to Mexico in the 1970s to play for UNAM Pumas, where he also got his coaching start, also coached Nigeria at the 1998 World Cup and China at the 2002 World Cup.

Jamaica will reportedly pay Milutinovic a $1 million a year on his four-year contract.

Alexandre Guimaraes, who coached Costa Rica at the last two World Cups, has been named as the new coach of Panama. Guimaraes was a midfielder on the Milutinovic-coached 1990 Costa Rica World Cup team.
