Tickets for the 1999 Women's World Cup will officially go on sale to the U.S. Soccer family on Friday May 1 at 10:00 a.m. (ET). Tickets will be available in Stadium Series packages, which include
all games played in a particular city. Members of the U.S. Soccer family will have the first chance to purchase packages, primarily through a direct-mail ticket brochure targeted at soccer fans in
and around the eight WWC venue communities. In addition, the WWC will advertise the ticket sale in soccer publications and newsletters and will be on-site selling tickets at major soccer matches and
tournaments throughout the month of May. Fans will have until May 31 to return their brochure or call 1-800-WWC-TIKS (1-800-992-8457) to purchase tickets. Members purchasing tickets between May 1
and May 31 will receive from 5-15 percent off regular package prices. Packages will go on sale to the general public later this year.
