U-17 boys split two games with England

The U-27 boys national team recently completed a training camp in Chula Vista, Calif., where the squad split a pair of matches with the England U-17s. The USA rolled to a 4-1 win on June 23 behind a hat trick from Landon Donovan and a goal from Kyle Beckerman. In the rematch, Raul Rivera gave the U.S. a 1-0 lead, and Matt Roberts put the U.S. up 2-1 before England rallied for a 3-2 win. The U.S. U-17s will regroup in Bradenton, Fla. July 11-13 to prepare for a tour of Jamaica that will include matches against Bolivia on July 14, Jamaica (July 16) and Jamaica again (July 18).
