MLS WEEK 9: Facts & Figures

* Jaime Moreno's second goal in D.C. United's 3-1 win over Kansas City on Saturday marked his 99th MLS career goal. Moreno is second in all-time scoring to Jason Kreis, whose goal in Real Salt Lake's 2-2 tie with Colorado marked his 103rd. Moreno will try to hit the century mark when United hosts Columbus Wednesday.

* Jeff Cunningham's goal for Real Salt Lake in its 2-2 tie Colorado was his fifth of the season. Clint Mathis, who went from Salt Lake to Colorado in a trade for Cunningham, has yet to score or assist for the Rapids. ... Jovan Kirovski scored the opening goal in the 2-2 tie. His five goals for Colorado in eight games match his scoring in 31 games last season for Colorado and Los Angeles.

* Chivas USA notched its second win of the season, downing Chicago 1-0 on a Juan Pablo Garcia goal to raise its record to 2-4-1. Last season, Chivas USA did not celebrate its second win until 18 games into the season.

* The New York Red Bulls beat Bayern Munich, the German champion who arrived with a depleted roster, 4-2, in front of 5,173 fans in a friendly Giants Stadium on Saturday. Jean-Philippe Peguero scored twice and Amado Guevara, in first game since the club suspended him for lashing out after being subbed, scored and assisted. Edson Buddle also scored against Bayern.
