On Wednesday, against Real Salt Lake, Claudio Suarez poked in the late equalizer after superb setup work from Jesse Marsch and Ante Razov, four minutes into stoppage time. The game also featured a volleyed goal by Salt Lake's Jeff Cunningham and long-range golazos from Real Salt Lake's Carey Talley (30 yards) and Andy Williams, and Chivas rookie Jonathan Bornstein, while Chivas' Ante Razov hit his league-leading 12th goal.
MLS's goals per-game average so far this season is 2.61, while games involving Chivas USA, which has scored 32 and conceded 28, average a league-high 3.0 goals per game.
