Brazil calls up Ronaldinho and Kaka for England and Turkey friendlies

Brazil stars Ronaldinho and Kaka have been called up for friendlies against England and Turkey in June even though they requested to skip the Copa America.

Coach Dunga said he wanted Ronaldinho and Kaka at the Copa America in Venezuela this summer but respected their decision to ask for a rest.

Ronaldinho accepted criticism about his play this season. saying he hoped to be in better shape for next season.

"I can give a lot more," he said. "I have scored more goals this year, but I haven't had the consistency in my play of previous years."

Ronaldinho will have two more games with Barca in La Liga after the friendlies.

Dunga's 22-man squad for the European tour included uncapped Afonso Alves, top scorer in the Dutch league with 34 goals for Heerenveen but largely an unknown back in Brazil.
