, 57, needed a kidney transplant, 80 Vietnamese soccer fans offered to donate one of theirs. A compatible donor was

Riedl's third stint as Vietnam coach started in 2005 and he has guided it to its greatest success, including a 2003 win over South Korea and four runner-up finishes in regional
tournaments. Vietnam co-hosts the Asian Cup this summer.
