USA sends three teams to Pan-American Games

The USA is sending three soccer teams to 2007 Pan-American Games July 13-28 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: the U-18 men's national team, U-20 women's national team and futsal national team.

The U.S. women kick off the games on July 12 against Paraguay and will play four games in the group stage. The men's tournament kicks off on July 15 for the USA, which will face Venezuela in the first of three group matches. The U.S. Futsal team will kick off the tournament on July 23 and play on three consecutive days, with placement matches on July 27-28.

ESPN Deportes will broadcast both the U.S. women's and U.S. men's matches against Mexico, on July 20 at 11:30 a.m. ET and July 21 at 9 a.m. ET, respectively, as well as the men's semifinals, final and third-place match. The women's semifinals, final and third-place match will be broadcast depending on the U.S. team's placement in those matches.
