2. U.S. SOCCER: Bradley leads USA into first match since World Cup; U.S. U-20s on TV twice.


The USA, which last took the field on June 22 in a 2-1 loss to Ghana that eliminated it from the World Cup in the first round and led to the firing of Coach Bruce Arena, returns to the field for a friendly against Denmark at the Home Depot Center under interim head coach Bob Bradley on Saturday.

The game will be televised live on ESPN2 at 4:50 pm ET and on delayed on Galavision at 9 pm ET. The ESPN2 broadcast crew includes Arena.

Meanwhile in Panama, the U.S. U-20 national team continues its quest to qualify for the U-20 World Championship.

The Americans opened the tournament with a 4-1 win over Haiti in which Harvard University freshman Andre Akpan scored a hat trick.

The U.S. U-20s face Guatemala on Friday (TV: GolTV, live, 6:30 ET) and Panama on Sunday (TV: GolTV, delay, 7 pm ET).
