Teen Torres makes first start for Mexican champion Pachuca

[AMERICANS ABROAD] Texas-born teen Jose Francisco Torres became one of the youngest Americans ever to start for a Mexican club when he started for 2007 Torneo Clausura champion Pachuca in a 3-1 win over Morelia.

Pachuca, which meets the Houston Dynamo Tuesday in the semifinals of the SuperLiga, used the 5-foot-5 Torres in midfield.

Torres, 19, was born in Longview, Texas,

Edgar Castillo was again in the starting lineup for Santos, which improved to 2-0-0 in Mexico's Torneo Apertura with a 3-2 win at Toluca.

Michael Orozco, another young defender, started for San Luis in a 3-1 victory over Necaxa.
