Texas A&M has been picked to win the 2007 Big 12 women's championship for the fourth consecutive year in a preseason vote of league head coaches.
The Aggies received six of 11 first
place votes and totaled 95 points. Texas, chosen second, received two first-place votes and 91 points, while Colorado came in third with 81 points and two first-place votes.
Texas and
A&M led the all teams with four and three players, respectively, named to the All-Big 12 preseason team.

Yolanda Odenyo
(Oklahoma State) and

Kelsey Carpenter (Texas). Odenyo was the Big 12 Player of the Year in 2006 while Marshall was named Rookie of the Year.
