Five players with remaining college eligibility are headed to China to represent Canada at the 2007 Women's World Cup, which will take place Sept. 10-30. Selected were

Sophie Schmidt (Portland).
Canada plays its first World Cup game on Sept. 12 against Norway
in Hangzhou. Canada then meets Ghana on Sept. 15 and Australia on Sept. 19 in Chengdu.
