Big East women's teams Rutgers and Louisville remain perfect with comeback wins

After falling behind in the 57th minute, Rutgers regrouped to get two goals from Rheanne Sleiman and Gina DeMaio in a 20-minute span and defeat Bucknell, 2-1, in front of 548 fans at Yurcak Field.

Sophomore Lindsay Boling scored a goal in the final five minutes to lift No. 25 Louisville to a 2-1win at Ohio Wednesday afternoon.

No. 24 Long Beach State fell at Wake Forest, 1-0, on a goal by Jill Hutchinson in the 50th minute. The 49ers failed to get off a shot in the first half on a warm and muggy evening in Winston-Salem, N.C.

The 49ers stay on the road for the next two matches, playing at Clemson on Friday and heading to BYU for a match on Tuesday.

Clemson, a 2006 NCAA Division I quarterfinalist, improved to 2-0-0 on Wednesday with a 5-0 win over Coastal Carolina.
