figured he'd being going out on team that's won five league games in five months.
Jones says he might consider returning for another season. "I know I can still play," he said Tuesday.
"It definitely plays a factor that the season is not going well. It would bend my attitude in that way. It's like, man, this isn't the right way to go out."
The 37-year-old Jones
was supposed to be used as a sub off the bench, but injuries, trades and poor form have deprived the Galaxy of effective play on the wing. Jones, as a result, has started 13 games on the right side
of midfield. His four goals and four assists are second on the Galaxy only to Landon Donovan.
