Hollywood United features such players as former French World Cup champion Frank Leboeuf, who now lives in Southern California and has been working on one of the groups seeking to get an MLS expansion team in Seattle. Among those confirmed to take part in the game for Hollywood United are former MLS stars Tab Ramos, Eric Wynalda, Alex Pineda Chacon, Mauricio Ramos and Richard Gough.

Scheduled to join these soccer luminaries will be "Without a Trace" star Anthony LaPaglia, Def Leppard guitarist Vivian Campbell and Hootie & the Blowfish drummer Jim Sonefeld, a former college star at South Carolina.
