CROWD COUNT: Women's Second Round

Wonder why Texas A&M is hosting the Women's College Cup? Despite pouring rain and the threat of hail and thunderstorms that delayed the start of Saturday's A&M-Texas game for 50 minutes, A&M drew 2,438 fans at Aggie Soccer Stadium. The crowd was at least double the crowds at all but two other NCAA Division I women's second-round matches. Six games drew less than 500 fans.
