The U.S. men's U-23 national team, which in March aims to
qualify for next summer's Olympic Games, convenes in Bradenton, Fla., with a 24-player roster. Although coach Peter Nowak
could not include European-based Freddy Adu and

The U.S. will play their three games of the group stage in
Tampa against Cuba on March 11, Panama on March 13 and Honduras on March 15. The eight-team tournament will send its two finalists to the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
Olympic qualifying only two months way, this camp gives us a great opportunity to continue the work we began last month in China," said Nowak. "There is a tremendous amount of
competition for spots on the roster, and we will continue to evaluate players as we focus on developing a team that can qualify for the Olympic Games."
Following the two weeks
of training, the Under-23s will reconvene for a week-long camp before gathering in March for the Olympic Qualifying tournament.
