Thomas Rongen is taking to the Copa
Chivas that begins next week in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Rongen has named 16 players to his initial roster for the Copa Chivas. They include
Anthony
Wallace (FC Dallas) and
Bryan Arguez (D.C. United), holdovers from the 2007 Under-20 World Cup team, and Chivas USA's
Jorge Flores. Rongen will take up to five players from the mega-camp to Guadalajara on Jan. 24.
Qualifying for the 2009 Under-20 World Cup will be played early next
year.
